About
us
Taekwon-Do is a fun and challenging Martial Art that engages both the body and mind. It improves fitness through workouts, helps with flexibility, and build self confidence. If you’re looking for a class that will help to build self-confidence, self-discipline, and mental resilience, positively impacting overall well-being then this could be the class for you.
We welcome students of all ages and fitness levels. As students progress in their training, they gain a sense of accomplishment and self-assurance, knowing that they have acquired a valuable skill set and the ability to defend themselves if necessary. The structured nature of Taekwon-Do training instills discipline, focus, and perseverance, which can be applied to other areas of life, such as academics, work, and personal goals.
We have a supportive community environment where students train together, learn from each other, and encourage one another's progress. This camaraderie and shared experience is an opportunity to create friendships and a sense of belonging, making Taekwon-Do a really enjoyable class as well as contributing to overall physical well-being.
Meet the Instructor

Botley School Instructor
Master Tony Hampson VII Dan
I have been running my Taekwon-Do school for over 30 years. I remember when I first began training after a serious motorcycle accident and the positive impact it had on my life, both physically and mentally. I had no prior experience of Martial Arts before getting involved in Taekwon-Do, and found it tough to work through the injuries I sustained, but Taekwon-Do helped me strengthen my body and aid recovery, and soon became a way of life.
I have been fortunate enough to have trained under the Founder of Taekwon-Do, General Choi Hong Hi and the Founder of our association (UKTA) First Grandmaster Rhee Ki Ha.
The Taekwon-Do community has become like a family, it is a fantastic place to enjoy a workout, learn news skills whilst disciplining the mind and body.We regularly achieve incredible results in competitions both Nationally and Internationally.
